Tag Masterclass | How to Get Involved in the Action

Social Media

To be involved in the online conversations in this digital world, you need to be savvy with how you include others and get yourself (your business) in with the crowd. Using a tag is the best way to do this.

In this blog post we will show you very simply how and who to tag on the three main social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) with a quick and easy step by step guide for each.

If after reading this article you are still unsure, then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to run through this in more detail with you and help you to get tagging away.

How to tag on Facebook

This is an extremely easy social media platform to use tags on! All you need to do is make sure you are following the people that you are going to be tagging.

Start by typing their name into the comment boxes and the person should come up while you are writing a post.

Double click on their name and their link should be tagged into your post of comment.

If you want to tag an organisation/business, you will need to type the handle, (for example Revolution Four’s is: ‘@Revolu4ion’) for it to come up as an option.

Tagging on Instagram is very straight forward, and you will see similarities to that of Twitter which we will take you through next.

Simply put @somebodysname and you have tagged them just like that!
