We are bursting with pride and gratitude to announce that our talented and hardworking Digital Director, Justine Mclaughlin, has been awarded Best New Start-up at the Women in Business Awards hosted by Downtown in Business last week.
As we approach nearly 12 months since our rebrand to Revolution Four, this such a thrilling moment for our whole team. Any business who has experienced a rebrand will understand what a mammoth but exciting undertaking it is, so this nomination alone felt like a huge pat on the back following a year of enormous change for our business.
We were privileged to be nominated alongside some truly amazing businesswomen from across the region, so to receive this accolade feels nothing short of an honour. Too often in the world of business, women can be pitted against each other rather than celebrating our collective achievements, so we feel exceptionally grateful to have shared the room with our fellow sisters in business.
Some people will ask why do we need an International Women’s Day or a Women in Business Awards? The truth is women are still 50% less likely to start a business than men, meanwhile only 27% of full time CEO roles are filled by women. It is more important than ever to not just recognise, but also celebrate, female leaders in business. Thank you to Downtown in Business for not only hosting this fabulous event but also for creating a platform to applaud so many inspirational women.
To everyone who voted and to our lovely clients who are like oxygen to us- thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We return to our Wirral based creative hub not just as winners but as a start-up marking what feels like our coming of age. Team Rev Four absolutely share this pivotal moment in our journey with you all.
